A new unofficial tablet leaked today after it had been Wi-Fi certified by the official Wi-Fi body, and it’s the Huawei MediaPad T3 that leaked, with the internal project name Baggio2 .
I’ve never heard of this tablet before, but we now have some specs to judge the Huawei MediaPad T3 (BG2-W09) tablet by.
Official specs that leaked are that of an Android 6.0 Marshmallow tablet, with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi support, Bluetooth 4.2, and a quad-core MediaTek MT8127 processor. So those specs doesn’t hint towards a new flagship Android tablet from Huawei. But then again, the Huawei MediaPad M3 flagship tablet was launched just a few months ago, and have it all, so Huawei doesn’t need to worry about an upgrade of their flagship tablet any time soon.
The Huawei MediaPad T3 leak also carried with it the model string KOB-L09, which is partially what the Huawei P9 Plus smartphone has too, so that can create some confusion. But according to the Wi-Fi body, the Huawei MediaPad T3 is a tablet for sure.
