Another cheap alternative to the Apple Pencil is launching this month, when Xiron launches a new Apple Pencil 2nd generation digitizer with support for 12 different iPads:

It mostly has the pencil look of the original Apple Pencil too, as opposed to the look of a digitizer pen that most digitizers have.
And it has magnetic wireless charging too, just like the original.
