Xiaomi announced their first Windows on ARM 2-in-1 tablet today, the Xiaomi Book S 12.4. It will launch in Europe for €699 after June 30.
So Xiaomi powered this tablet with a 2.84 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2 chipset, with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM, a nd 256GB of storage.
The 12.4-inch LCD screen has a 2560 x 1600 resolution display with 100% sRGB, 60 Hz refresh, 500 nits brightness, and Gorilla Glass 3.
There’s also loud 2W stereo speakers, a 5MP front camera with facial login, a 13MP rear camera, dual mics, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.1, a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB C port, a microSD card slot, and Windows 11.
Xiaomi Book S 12.4 has the typical long battery life you expect from a Win-ARM tablet, rated to 13.4 hours long, and supporting 65W charging.
Accessories includes both the keyboard cover with trackpad, or a traditional keyboard-less cover with tri-fold and auto sleep/wake, and the Xiaomi Smart Pen digitizer pen, the same pen used with the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tablets.
The Xiaomi Book S 12.4 tablet is 8.95mm thick and weighs 720 grams.
