Cheap Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium Graphics Tablet With OLED Remote – Debuts On March 5 With Two Digitizers
Wacom graphics tablets are generally great for their purpose, but they can be costly, despite their efforts the last years of launching a few less expensive graphics tablets.
But now a newcomer by the name of Xencelabs is launching a cheap 11.5-inch graphics tablet called Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium for $279, featuring two pens with a pencil case. An innovative and potentially time saving optional remote control will be available for $89.
This Quick Keys Remote has an OLED display, scroll wheel, and quick keys for up to 40 shortcuts which should speed up things.
Two EMR pens are included though, which supports 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity and 60 degree tilt, are battery free, and have programmable buttons. A total of 10 nibs are included.
The rather large team behind the Xencelabs Pen Tablet Medium says that they've made an effort to make the display have as much of the right feel as possible, which is necessary if you want to draw well on a screen without having the pen run all over the place.
The screen ratio is 16:9 with 10.3 x 5.75 inches, making this an 11.5-inch graphics tablet.
They seem to have thought the design through too, as the tablet is just 8mm thick and looks more ergonomically gentle on the wrists and hands than most other graphics tablets I've seen or tried. This cheap new graphics tablet is launching next week, on March 5.
