Toshiba Satellite Fusion Announced
Toshiba announced a new 15.6-inch Windows 8.1 Satellite Fusion convertible today with a fifth generation Intel Core processor and configurable with up to 12GB of RAM.
But otherwise it's a mid-rang convertible, or a flexible laptop. But it's no tablet unfortunately, unlike the Toshiba Portégé Z20t, though Toshiba is marketing it as a 2-in-1, which by definition is somewhat wrong. But it does at least rotate a full 360 degrees.
The overall features are not bad, with b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi, a Full HD 1920×1080 resolution display, backlit keyboard, TruTalk dual-array microphones for voice apps like Cortana and Skype, Onkyo stereo speakers tuned by Skullcandy and then even more audio enhancement software made by DTS.

Storage capacity goes up to 1TB with a hard drive, or 128GB with a SSD. It also has two USB 3.0 ports and a single USB 2.0 port.
All in all not a bad device, but Asus does it better and for a better price, so going for this Toshiba device seems a little pointless.
It is shown with Windows 10 in the images, but it will continue to ship with Windows 8.1 for two more months.
