Toshiba Portégé Z20t Updated For 2016 With Skylake & Type-C
The 12.5-inch Windows 10 Pro 2-in-1 tablet Toshiba Portégé Z20t has been modernized for 2016 with a swap to the newest 6th generation Intel Core processors, Toshiba just annonuced.
And along with the upgrade to a choice of the new Skylake processors, is a the inclusion of a new USB Type-C connector on the tablet too. In addition to all that we are seeing the price go down as well, with the cheapest version of Toshiba Portégé Z20t now starting at $999.
The 12.5-inch screen still has the same Full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution though, but this is a display with full Wacom digitizer support since the digitizer pen is a big part of what this tablet is about. Maximum brightness is 350 nits.

Another feature that ought to be mentioned is the combined 16 hour battery life, with 8 hours worth of battery capacity in the tablet, and another 8 hours worth of battery capacity in the backlit keyboard.
RAM options are 4GB and 8GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM.
Beyond that, the new Toshiba Portégé Z20t has dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi support, GBit LAN, a 2MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera, and DTS stereo. The thickness is 8.8 mm while the weight is 799 grams.
It was a good tablet when it launched, but considering the price it has some stiff competition in the newest Surface Pro 4.
