TCL Tab 11 Announced – Competitor To Samsung Galaxy Tab A8

Simultaneous with the unveiling of the TCL Nxtpaper 11 today, TCL also announced the new TCL Tab 11 series.

This tablet will consist of the regular TCL Tab 11 and the model called TCL Tab 11 LTE, featuring 4G of course.

The Wi-Fi only model will be quite cheap, as it's expected to launch for $179 in May, while the LTE is expected to launch for $209.

This 11-inch screen (10.95-inch) also has a Full HD resolution of 2000 x 1200, and stylus support for a 4096 levels of pressure sensitive stylus pen. An optional keyboard will be launched for it too.

It's powered by a MediaTek Helio P60T chipset, 4GB RAM, and 128GB storage, and has a 8000 mAh battery, 8MP front and rear cameras, Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.0, and quad speakers.

So this tablet is clearly trying to compete with the leading tablet in this category, which is the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8.

Samsung will win on price, but the specs and native keyboard support for the TCL Tab 11 might get a few prospective buyers to wait for the release of the new TCL tablet instead.
