TCL Hulk 7 / Alcatel Smart Tab 7 Kids Tablet With Android 9.0 Launched
For those looking for a 7-inch kids tablet other than the Fire 7 Kids Edition with Fire OS, the TCL Hulk 7 / Alcatel Smart Tab 7 Kids Tablet that we wrote about last fall is now widely available with stock Android 9.0 for $74: https://www.amazon.com/Alcatel-Smart-Tablet-Orange-Bumper/dp/B0842BHZLP/
TCL Hulk 7 / Alcatel Smart Tab 7 Kids Tablet doesn't have the world's highest specs though.
The hardware we get is a 7-inch tablet with 1024 x 600 resolution, powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT8167D processor, with 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB storage.
We get a protective blue and orange bumper case with a handle and a kickstand on the back for exterior, while remaining features and hardware includes Android 9.0, included parental control features, 2MP front and rear cameras, single-band 2.4 Ghz 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, a 2580 mAh battery, front facing speakers, a microSD card slot, a micro-USB port, a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
It weighs just 269 grams, but it's deliberately made to be 17.5mm thick with the bumper case.
For those looking for a more powerful kids tablet, the Fire HD 10 Kids Edition is powerful for a kids tablet, and it has a larger 10.1-inch Full HD screen too.
