And like the Fire HD 10, the New Fire HD 10 Kids Edition will also launch on October 30. It’s priced at $199 for one, or $349 for two, for those who may have more kids who would want one.

So the tablet specs are the same as on the Fire HD 10, including a great Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution 10.1-inch screen, stereo speakers, and 12 hour battery life, but it also comes with the content rich Amazon FreeTime Unlimited ecosystem that gives kids access to age-appropriate content of apps, games, books, movies, shows, audio books, and other content for kids between 3 to 12, generally speaking.

FreeTime Unlimited can also be accessed on Android phones and tablets and Apple iPhones and iPads, and they’ve been made to ensure they are easy and intuitive to use for both parents and children, including free unlimited 24/7 customer support.

Parents can control each Fire HD 10 Kids Edition tablet through the Amazon Parent Dashboard, which can be accessed through the web or apps.

Fire HD 10 Kids Edition is protected by thick bumper cases with built-in kickstand in the color options blue, purple, and of course pink.

And if the kids grow up too fast, then these bumper cases can be taken off and the tablet will look and function just like the regular Fire HD 10.
