Samsung Galaxy View II (SM-T927) – The Rumored 17-Inch Tablet Wi-Fi Approved Again, Now With Higher Specs

We first mentioned that the Samsung Galaxy View II (SM-T927) had been Wi-Fi certified on the last day of August this year, but what puzzled us back in its first leak, was that it lacked 802.11 ac Wi-Fi support, which seemed very odd for a new Samsung tablet in 2018.

Today the Samsung Galaxy View 2 (Samsung SM-T927A) was once again Wi-Fi certified, but this time the 802.11 ac Wi-Fi was there, together with the usual 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi bands and channels. And of course Android 8.0 Oreo.

These are the official specs so far, along with the Samsung Galaxy View 2 name and the Bluetooth 5.0 specs previously specified in its official Bluetooth approval in September.

Based on the revised specs, it’s hard to say when this large tablet will launch. It could be within 2018, or it could be put on hold until the start of 2019.
