Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite 8.7 Released For $159 In The US Today

Samsung released the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite 8.7 in the US today from $159 for the 32GB model, and $199 for the 64GB model in either silver/white or black/grey combinations:

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite is Samsung’s newest 8-inch tablet on the market in 2021, and it ships with Android 11 and Samsung’s One UI but will get years worth of free Android updates from Samsung.

UPDATE: The latest Android 13 update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite together with One UI 5.0 started rolling out OTA in December 2022.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite specs are, a new 8.7-inch screen with a new display resolution of 1340 x 800, and it’s powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT8768N processor, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage, or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The storage can be extended up to a whopping 1TB with microSD cards.

Other specifications are stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 2MP front webcam, a 8MP rear camera, a 5100 mAh battery with a battery life of 12 hours and fast charge, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Glonass, Beidou, and Galileo navigation sensors, as well as accelerometer, compass, and light sensor, and a USB C 2.0 port and 3.5mm audio combo jack.

Two months worth of free YouTube Premium are included with every Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. And of course you get features like one hand gesture controls one this tablet.

As for dimensions, Samsung’s newest tablet is 8mm thick and weighs just 371 grams.
