Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 & 8.0 Unveiled In Russia
After many months of leaks, the first two Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablets at 9.7 and 8.0 inches have been officially unveiled is Moscow, Russia.
(UPDATE: Samsung Galaxy Tab A will be released on May 1 in the US.)
The specs had been leaked for the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 since February already, but it's nice to see the tablets in pictures too.
Both tablets have the “new” 4:3 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1024 x 768, Android 5.0.2 with Samsung's TouchWiz skin, a quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB storage with 128GB microSD card support, a 2MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera, and a 4200 mAh battery capacity that should give these tablets a battery life of 10 hours.

They are both 7.5 mm thick while the 9.7-inch weighs 457 grams, and the 8.0-inch model weighs 320 grams. There will be Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G LTE model options, with prices starting at around 300 Euros.
Samsung have yet to announce the worldwide launch of these tablets, but we'll update once we know more. In Russia they will be released in April though.
