Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 Unveiled – New Windows 10 2-In-1 With Intel Core m3 Processor
Samsung unveiled the brand new 10.6-inch Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet today, the smaller sibling of the larger new 12-inch Samsung Galaxy Book 12 that was also unveiled today.
Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 is powered by the newest 7th gen. Intel Core m3 “Kaby Lake processor at 2.6 GHz, and has 4GB RAM, and 64GB and 128GB storage options, with 256GB microSD card support.
The 10.6-inch screen has a Full HD 1920 x 1280 resolution, but it is not a Super AMOLED display, like on the larger 12-inch model. It has a 5MP front camera but no rear camera, and the front camera supports Full HD 1920 x 1080 video recording at 30 fps.
Other hardware specs of the new Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 includes USB 3.1 Type-C, accelerometer, hall sensor, lightsensor, GPS, and GLONASS.
Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 has complete Wi-Fi cover, with 2×2 dual-band MIMO 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi cover, and Bluetooth 4.1. There is are 4G LTE versions of this Windows tablet too (SM-W625, SM-W627).
The Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 battery life is 10 hours long, with a 30.4W battery that supports fast charging. The keyboard cover is included with the tablet, as is the 4096 pressure level sensitive S Pen. And with the S Pen we get apps like Samsung Notes, Air Command, Samsung Flow. So you can use the stylus as a mouse if you will, although the keyboard has a touchpad/trackpad too.
Dimensions for the full-metal Samsung Galaxy Book 10.6 are 8.9 mm of thickness and a weight of 640 grams for the Wi-Fi model (SM-W620).
