Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Powered 2-In-1 Chromebook With 4G LTE May Have Been Discovered
At the moment there are no Qualcomm Snapdragon powered Chromebooks, but the latest discovery by About Chromebooks and XDA has found that details in some of the earliest developments of the latest code, carries information that ties it to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 powered Chromebook.
The same findings suggests that the codename for it is “Cheza” and that it is specified as a detachable 2-in-1.
It's also possible to find linked information about a USB Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, and a Display Port in the same file, but that's not to say that a “Cheza Chromebook” will actually feature a Display Port.
And with this chipset we would of course get 4G LTE cellular connectivity, a host of sensors, and long battery life all at once. So I'm sure a lot of people would want this device, and a autumn launch of the Cheza would make sense, also because Google is now going after the enterprise and pro business market with the next generation Chromebooks, and these Chrome OS 2-in-1 tablets needs to have some power.
So we would be looking at something like the Lenovo Miix 630, just with Chrome instead of Windows, and an even newer Snapdragon processor.
