SIM SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) is a small card that contains mobile network subscriber's account information. This allows the phone using the card to attach to a mobile network. The SIM card is most commonly associated with GSM and UMTS mobile networks. Moving a SIM card from one phone to another allows a subscriber to switch mobile phones without having to contact their mobile network carrier. SIM cards can also be used by a phone to store limited amounts of data, such as phone numbers and text messages. Nano-SIM

Hardware

Battery

Capacity Battery Capacity is a measure (typically in Amp-hr) of the charge stored by the battery, and is determined by the mass of active material contained in the battery. The battery capacity represents the maximum amount of energy that can be extracted from the battery under certain conditions. 5100 mAh
Battery Life 14 Hours
Charging No

Camera

Rear Camera Camera is able to capture photographs and usually videos, The most important characteristics of a camera are the resolution (measured in megapixels), lens focus type (fixed or automatic), higher megapixel cameras are known to capture higher quality photos, but not always a good measurement of the photos quality. 8 MP
Front Camera 2 MP
Video 1080p@30fps
Camera Features Video calling, Video sharing
Flash Flash Light => There is commonly two types of flash lights are used in camera mobile phones, LED Flash (LED flash offers lower power consumption with drive circuitry that takes up very little room, LEDs can be strobed faster than any other light source), Xenon Flash (xenon flash produces an extremely intense full-spectrum white light for a very short duration) No

Connectivity

Bluetooth Bluetooth is a wireless communications technology for exchanging data between mobile phones, headsets, computers and other network devices over short distances without wires, Bluetooth technology was primarily designed to support simple wireless networking of personal consumer devices. 4.2

Energy is sent through an inductive coupling to an electrical device, which can then use that energy to charge batteries or run the device. No

Reviews

User Reviews 1 User Reviews When testing it out, I find the battery life is actually really good, lasting over 7 hours streaming video at full brightness. The speakers are also nice and loud, better than even the S-Pen version.
- FishBee Productions
User Reviews 2 I show the hardware and design, noting the plastic frame which doesn't feel as premium as an iPad Mini. But build quality is otherwise good with a metal back. Speakers sound decent considering the price.
- My Next Tablet
User Reviews 3 I find the tablet decent but not great. The 8" TFT display has big bezels and low 800x1280 resolution that could be better. Performance is budget-level with a Snapdragon 429 chipset and 2GB RAM. Multitasking capability is limited and it can't handle intensive games or apps well.
- Simple Alpaca
Tabletmonkeys Reviews Tabletmonkeys Reviews Pros:
- Good battery life (over 7 hours video streaming)
- Loud, good quality speakers
- Smooth gameplay for less demanding games
Cons:
- 720p screen resolution is lower than ideal
- Text and icons not very sharp
- Struggles with more demanding games like Asphalt 9

Samsung's latest budget tablet offers surprisingly strong performance and battery life given its low price point.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2019) retails for around $130 yet manages to impress in key areas.

The tablet sports an aluminum back and plastic frame.

Its 8-inch display is lower resolution at 1280×800 pixels but offers decent color and brightness.

Bezels are quite large. Still, build quality seems solid overall.

A Snapdragon 429 processor and 2GB of RAM power the device.

While no speed demon, the Tab A handles casual games and apps without issue.

PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty run smoothly on lowered settings. Streaming media poses no problems either.

Battery life stands out as a major plus. Our video streaming test yielded over 7 hours of playback on a full charge.

Speakers also impress with loud, full sound you wouldn't expect from a budget slate.

On the downside, more intensive 3D games struggle. Asphalt 9 is essentially unplayable due to heavy stuttering.

The screen scratched easily during our testing as well, so a protector is a must.

For the price, Samsung's 2019 Tab A presents a remarkable value.

Shoppers wanting a capable tablet for basic tasks and content consumption will be pleasantly surprised by its competent performance and long runtime per charge.

Just don't expect to play the most demanding games or run multiple apps smoothly.

Overall an excellent budget choice for casual use.
