We found the Surface Go's compact and lightweight design to be one of its main strengths. At just 0.5kg, it's easy to hold and portable enough to fit into an average sized handbag. The optional keyboard cover keeps the screen protected when traveling. The magnesium chassis is rugged enough that we aren't too concerned about scratches from throwing it in a backpack. - Tech Spurt |

The overall rating is based on review by our dedicated team and users.
Microsoft has added a new member to its Surface tablet family with the launch of the Surface Go.
This lightweight and compact tablet stands out for its premium design and surprisingly low price point.
Weighing just 1.15 pounds, the Surface Go is easy to carry around or hold for extended periods. Its 0.33-inch thickness means it can slip into bags with ease.
The signature magnesium unibody chassis looks sharp and feels durable, with the kickstand allowing for multiple viewing angles up to 165 degrees.
The 10-inch touchscreen display impresses with its high 1800 x 1200 resolution and vibrant colors.
Visuals appear sharp, while the 3:2 aspect ratio offers more vertical space for web pages and documents. Ten-point multi-touch capabilities enable natural interaction.
Under the hood, a dual-core Intel Pentium Gold processor handles everyday tasks acceptably.
While not blazing fast, the Surface Go perks along reliably for web browsing, video calling, media playback and Office productivity. Multitasking does slow things down though.
On the connectivity front, the tablet includes both USB-C and a microSD card reader which is handy for transferring photos.
Battery life is rated for up to 9 hours of video playback which held up in our testing.
Just keep in mind the Type Cover keyboard and Surface Pen need to be purchased separately.
In summary, the well-built and portable Microsoft Surface Go makes for a versatile tablet that punches above its weight given the low cost.
We heartily recommend it for students or general users wanting Microsoft's premium design without breaking the bank. Just manage expectations around top-notch performance.
