Possible First Video Of Xiaomi Foldable Tablet Leaked
Xiaomi was reported to start sourcing components for their first foldable Xiaomi tablet phone during the summer of 2018, ahead of an expected launch in 2019.
Now Evan Blass have posted a video on Twitter of what he says in his disclaimer is an alleged foldable Xiaomi tablet with the 3 screen fold.
While Blass can't vouch for the purported leak, the tablet looks legit, and the timing fits well with prior rumors and leaks.
Can't speak to the authenticity of this video or device, but it's allegedly made by Xiaomi, I'm told. Hot new phone, or gadget porn deepfake? pic.twitter.com/qwFogWiE2F

While this tri-screen foldable tablet looks really great, and incorporates one of several different foldable tablet design we will see unfold in this segment from 2019 to 2020, Xiaomi's foldable tablet is believed to run the Android based MIUI user interface as seen in the video, meaning that it's aimed at the Chinese home market first of all.
But time will tell, and all major tablet brands have patents on other versions of tri-screen tablets too, even Microsoft. So similar folding tablets should become available with time.
The price of the Xiaomi foldable tablet was expected to be around $900 in the July report on the tablet.
