Parallels Access iPad App Gets An Update
On Friday, Parallels updated their Parallels Access app for iPad, an app that gives access to Windows and Mac apps through remote access.
The update means support for 9 more languages in addition to the initial English and German. And these languages are Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.
Another update is the new single port connection. Also, they are currently giving away 2 weeks worth of free trials on this iPad app, for those who have never heard of it before.
Parallels Access simply enables access to desktop and other computer devices, Windows or Mac through the iPad, which opens up a whole new world of opportunities once you get your head around it.
So yes, in crudest terms you can do sacrilegious things like run Internet Explorer on an iPad. But since users can also access the desktop computer remotely with the iPad, that makes things much more interesting.
