The name of what will be the fourth Oppo tablet was found during the weekend, after GSMarena found this tablet listed with the Thailand cellular regulatory agency.
It was listed and certified due to it’s cellular internals, where it was certified with the model number OPD2303 tied to the name Oppo Pad Neo. Though no other specs other than the cellular capabilities were confirmed.
But Tabletmonkeys is pleased to add some leaks to this information, as this is one of the new Oppo tablets we wrote about a month ago.
The Oppo Pad Neo is a tablet with an 11.5-inch screen, that will feature options of 6GB and 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage.
Oppo has been using the Neo moniker for several of their smartphones for years, such as the Oppo Find X3 Neo, but this is the first time that Oppo places one of their tablets in a family with their smartphones, similar to what Samsung does with their Galaxy series of various mobile devices.
The Oppo Pad Neo is also just one of two new unannounced tablets in the pipeline. The other new Oppo tablet is the tablet that currently just goes by the name Oppo Pad Air 2 which is already known to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
