Nextbook Flexx 9 Tablet Announced

E Fun announced a new Windows 10 tablet yesterday with the 8.9-inch Nextbook Flexx 9 2-in-1 tablet.

But E Fun cut a lot of corners with the Nextbook Flexx 9, like only giving it 1GB of RAM, powering it with the old Intel Bay Trail Z3735 processor that have now been replaced by Cherry Trail processors, and only giving it a 4900 mAh battery.

This tablet is a good example of why it’s common for people who receive budget tablets during Christmas to complain about what they have received, so this is not a tablet you’re likely to find on anyone’s wish list this year.

Other specs include a 1280 x 800 resolution display, 32GB of storage with support for 64GB microSD expansion, a 0.3MP front cam, and a 2MP rear cam, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, BT 4.0, and micro-USB and micro-HDMI ports. There’s no word on battery life, but it’s doomed to be low, even if it has little RAM.

8.9 Windows 10 Tablets

E Fun has several budget tablets like these in the Nextbook series on the market, with one of the most popular ones in that category currently being the larger 10.1-inch Nextbook Flexx 10.
