New iPad Pros Now Almost Certain To Feature Round Display Corners

With the latest iOS 12.1 Beta undergoing testing among developers before it's released as a stable update in the coming weeks, some new info has been found concerning the next iPad Pros.

Inside of the code of the iOS 12.1 update is software adaption for rounded corners on the display as reported by Mac Rumors. Now it has also been believed for a months that the new iPad Pros will feature displays that are more similar to edge-to-edge design, even if not fully edge-to-edge, as well as Apple ditching the fingerprint home button on the front as well and replace it with facial login.

So all of that leaves more space on the screen for a greater utilization of the space for the display instead.

And according to 9To5 Mac, a new Apple Pencil 2 will be launched for these tablets too, but nothing seems to be known about the new technologies or features that it might offer yet.

A possible October event or very early November event for the new iPad Pros is still on the table, and it will probably coincide with the release of the iOS 12.1.
