New 10.1-Inch Toshiba Excite In The Works
Toshiba haven't launched any new 10.1-inch Android tablets since June last year, when they launched Toshiba Excite Write, Pro, and Pure, tablets that all looked good on paper but who ultimately failed to deliver in practice, with issues ranging from heat problems to poor display quality.
But now Toshiba have a chance to improve their tablets as a new Toshiba Excite Pure is in the works. So far it is only confirmed by a leak from the Wi-Fi Alliance's website where this Android 4.4 tablet have received dual-band Wi-Fi certification from the organization under the model name AT10-B.
So that would make it a new Toshiba Excite Pure. Last years model was a Tegra 3 powered, 1280 x 800 resolution Android tablet, launched for $299. The new model is expected to remain in the same category as before. But I would be very happy to be proven wrong.
