10.6-Inch Android Tablet Lenovo Tab M10 5G Launched

Lenovo has just announced the Lenovo Tab M10 5G, a 5G tablet that's launching in India for the equivalent of $280. Lenovo expects to launch it in Europe around August-September from €399.

The Lenovo Tab M10 5G is a 10.61-inch Android 13 tablet, similar to the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen) but with the looks of the 11.2-inch OLED tablet Lenovo Tab P11 Pro (2nd Gen).

But Lenovo Tab M10 5G is a new tablet from Lenovo.

It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, with options of 4GB or 6GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB uMCP storage, with 5G included.

The 10.61-inch screen has a Full HD 2000 x 1200 resolution display at 90Hz with 400 nits brightness and support for the optional Lenovo Tab Pen Plus stylus pen.

It's sold with Android 13 installed, which comes with one upgrade to Android 14, but 3 1/2 years worth of security updates.

Unlike most other tablets above 10 inches from Lenovo, the Lenovo Tab M10 5G only has stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, as opposed to the quad speakers on the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (3rd Gen).

But it still has Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.1, GPS, an 8MP front camera and facial recognition, a 13MP rear camera with LED, and a 7700 mAh battery with 20W charging and a 12 hour battery life.

Ports includes a microSD card slot, a USB C 2.0 port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The weight is 490 grams while the thickness is 8.3mm.

Lenovo Tab M10 5G - water resistant tablet

Another aspect of the design is that Lenovo says this tablet is water and dust-resistant. Water resistant and waterproof is not the same thing, so we need to see what kind of IP rating this tablet has before we can get a verdict on that. But at least we can see some water droplets in the photo from Lenovo, so that's something.
