Amazon has started promoting Prime Day 2022, which is Amazon’s largest shopping days of the year, lasting for 48 hours from July 12th through July 13th in most of the countries where Amazon have set up shop:
Amazon’s won’t announce the majority of the deals in advance, since there will be a lot of Prime Day deals that will only go live for a few hours throughout the 48 hours sales spree.
But Amazon have announced a few deals ahead of Prime Day, so we can get some idea of what to expect.
So far, they have at least said that the previous generation model Fire 7 will be on sale, together with the Kindle Paperwhite, as well as their smart home hubs Echo Show 5, Echo Dot, and smart home accessories related to these devices.
Last year we saw a couple of good tablet deals during Prime Day, but not on such a wide range of tablets as we see on sale during Black Friday and Cyber Monday towards the end of the year.
But Amazon have pre-announced that a lot of TVs will get a substantial discount, typically in the 45% – 50% range on TV models such as Insignia, Fire TV up to 55-inch, Pioneer TVs, and even Toshiba’s 75-inch 4K UHD M550 series with the price cut in half.
And Prime Day(s) will also begin with a warming up period with Early Deals as soon as next week, on June 21st until Prime Day actually begins fully.
