Intel Atom T5700 “Broxton” Processor Benchmarked On Android 7.1 Device Today – By Intel
A device with the “Broxton” Intel Atom T5700 processor was benchmarked today by what appears to be Intel themselves.
Benchmarked as the quad-core 2.4 GHz Intel Atom T5700 processor with Intel HD graphics processor that it is, it is tested on what is most likely at reference device identified as “Generic androidia_64” with 4GB of RAM, a 1920 x 1200 touchscreen, and the latest Android 7.1.1.
The Intel Atom T5700 and T5500 processors were announced last year and are based on some of the same Goldmont architecture as the Apollo Lake processor have despite essentially being the latest evolved Intel Atom processors. No commercial tablets or other computers have been released with the Intel Atom Broxton processor though, and all the specs are not out on these processors yet, but they should be able to support DDR4 RAM at least, if a manufacturer wants to try that out on a tablet with an Intel Atom T5700 processor.
Clock rates on the Intel Atom T5700 of the T5000 family are 1.7 GHz, with up to 2.4 GHz of Turbo frequency.
