Although with the ban on Google Play access, you're going to have to access Huawei's AppGallery instead to download apps.

The curios thing about the Huawei MediaPad T 8 is that this tablet is powered by a MediaTek MT8768 processor, and not one of Huawei's own chipsets. But even that didn't help Huawei bypass the US government's ban on access to Google Play.

Politics aside, the Huawei MediaPad T 8 is an entry level 8-inch tablet that was unveiled at the start of the summer and is meant to compete with the likes of Fire HD 8 and Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0.

So in addition to the octa-core 2.0 GHz processor, it only has 2GB of RAM, 16GB and 32GB storage options, optional 4G, and a HD screen with a resolution of 1280 x 800, though the screen is still of a decent quality.

You get the Android 10 based Huawei EMUI10 OS that comes with a suite of apps, and access to Huawei AppGallery and you can use the Huawei Petal Search to find apps for it.

The other Huawei MediaPad T 8 specs includes a 2MP front camera, 5MP rear camera, a 5100 mAh batter with a 12 hour battery life, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and actually just a mono speaker, though still with Histen 6.0 audio. And despite the black front bezels, the back of it is dark blue.
