How to Effectively Manage WhatsApp Community Admins

WhatsApp Community offers a convenient way to manage various groups, such as schools and organizations, all in one place. By default, the community creator becomes the admin who oversees group activities and members. However, you can easily invite others to become admins and share the responsibilities of managing the community. Managing WhatsApp Community Admins on iPhone

Let's say you have created a neighborhood community with multiple groups on WhatsApp. Now, you can effortlessly make committee members admin and empower them to manage the community alongside you. Here's how:

  1. Open WhatsApp on your iPhone.
  2. Go to the Communities tab.
  3. Select the community where you want to add members.
  4. Tap View Members.
  5. If the person is not yet part of the community, tap Invite to Community via Link. Share the community link via WhatsApp or QR code. Remember, only share the invitation link with people you trust, as anyone with access to the link can join your WhatsApp community.
  6. Once other members join your WhatsApp community, you can find them in the View Members menu.
  7. Tap on a contact and select Make admin from the bottom menu. Confirm your decision in the dialog box, and you're all set.
  8. The new admin will receive a confirmation message.
  9. They can choose to accept the invitation and become an admin or dismiss themselves as admin.

Once the person accepts your invitation to become an admin, you will see “Community Admin” written beside their name.

Managing WhatsApp Community Admins on Android

If you manage a WhatsApp community on Android, follow these steps to invite and make someone an admin:
