Google’s Gboard App Rolls Out Split Keyboard For Android Tablets
Google's virtual keyboard app Gboard has started rolling out the new feature split keyboard to Android tablets, after the same feature had previously launched on foldables.
With split keyboard, it's easier to type with both hands while you are still holding the tablet, at least if it's a tablet larger than 10 inches, since the most used keys will be close to the bezel.
Gboard has other features too such as translation, type by voice, predicative typing, dictionary, handwriting, and writing by sliding your finger.
Not all of these features are available in all languages, and the older your OS, the fewer Gboard features it will have. Check out Google Play for related features.
It's available for iPhones and iPads too, but as with older Android versions, the complete set of features is not supported yet.
