Four Samsung Laptops With OLED Display And Weight From 870 Grams Unveiled – Launch May 17

Today was Samsung's Galaxy event for April, which has now given us the new Samsung laptops Samsung Galaxy Book, Samsung Galaxy Book Pro, Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360, and Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey. However, the leaked but smaller Samsung Galaxy Book Go was not unveiled today.

The Samsung Galaxy Book Pro and Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 started taking pre-orders from Samsung today, before a launch around May 17.

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360
This is a 360 degree revolving laptop with either a 13.3-inch screen at 1920 x 1080 or a 15.6-inch screen at 1920 x 1080, and these are both OLED displays.

Main specs are S Pen support, optional 5G, 11th gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors, UHD/Iris Xe GPU, a starting weight of 1040 grams and impressive 11.5mm thickness, 8GB/16GB/32GB RAM, up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage, and Thunderbolt 4

Samsung Galaxy Book Pro
These are incredibly light laptops, starting at just 870 grams for the 13.3-inch model and 1050 grams for the 15.6-inch model. Both of these feature AMOLED displays, with a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080.

They too are equipped with 11th gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors, UHD/Iris Xe GPU, 8GB/16GB/32GB RAM, up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage, and Thunderbolt 4, but also feature a Nvidia MX450 option on the largest model.

Samsung Galaxy Book
This is Samsung's new entry level laptop with Windows, which comes as a 15.6-inch Full HD model with a display resolution of 1920 x 1080, and a range of five different processor classes, starting with Intel Celeron and Pentium, to the latest 11th gen. Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors, UHD/Iris Xe GPU, 4GB/8GB/16GB RAM, and up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage.

Being a cheaper Samsung laptop than the two above, it weighs more than its siblings, at 1590 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Book Odyssey
The final new Samsung laptop so far in 2021, is their new gaming laptop, which features expandable memory and storage.

To handle graphics and create a smooth flow, it has options of Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 / 3050TI Max-Q Graphics which comes on top of i5/i7 processors, 8GB/16GB/32GB RAM, and up to 1TB NVMe SSD storage.

The latest Odyssey has a 15.6-inch LCD screen with 1920 x 1080 resolution. It also comes with a 135W USB C charger, but has no Thunderbolt 4 port.

So even if the last two laptops represent nothing new, the Samsung Galaxy Book Pro 360 and Samsung Galaxy Book Pro are both attractive laptops right now for anyone in search of the lightest laptops with great displays and high performance.
