12″ Android 13 Tablet Doogee T20 Ultra To Launch For $249 On November 11 With Helio G99 Processor

OK, so we can definitely say that one of the newest tablet trends this fall is the introduction of the cheap 12-inch Android 13 tablets, as the third tablet in this category is launching as the Doogee T20 Ultra, which is premiering on AliExpress for $249 on November 11.

Despite a 12-inch screen, the display resolution is still just a Full HD 2000 x 1200 resolution to keep the cost down, but it supports Widevine L1 and is accompanied by 4 Smart-PA speakers which even has HiRes Audio support.

The maximum brightness of the screen is 350 nits, which will be enough for most uses.

It's also another 12-inch tablet that's powered by the very popular 2.2 GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which works together with as much as 12GB RAM and up to 20GB extra virtual RAM, and 256GB storage. Even the microSD card slot supports cards up to 2TB in capacity. So storage is clearly no issue on the Doogee T20 Ultra.

And even though offering a 12-inch tablet cheaply was probably the main purpose of this tablet, it still has decent specs otherwise too.

It has a large 10,800 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support, GPS, GLONASS, Beiduo, and Galaileo location sensors, and a gyroscope too, while internet is available through dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.1, and some regional 4G LTE cover.

The front camera is an 8MP camera with face unlocking, while on the back we have a 16MP camera.

And the build of the metal unibody may be on the upscale side too, as it's just 7.6mm thick and weighs just 568 grams. It even has two dark color options, with one fully black one, one grey model, and a blue one.

Accessories includes a new keyboard just for the Doogee T20 Ultra which connects through the pogo pins underneath the tablet, and a capacity stylus pen. But stylus pens have not been something that Doogee has prioritized much before, so they are starting with a 1024 levels of pressure sensitive pen.

Doogee has built up a good tablet portfolio in 2023, and if they keep up this kind of pace, we can probably expect some real goodies and even some potential best sellers from them in 2024.
