Chuwi Ships First Batch Of Chwui SurBook 2-In-1
Chuwi started shipping the first batch of Chwui SurBook last Monday to the first original backers, and now the next batch is prepared while the SurBok is up for order from regular stores too, and not just IndieGoGo.
In design and marketing, the Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet Chuwi SurBook is very much a Surface Pro clone. It looks the same and has some of the same features, and even tops the SP by featuring a USB Type-C port.
The 12.3-inch screen has the same 2736 x 1824 resolution too, with digitizer support, but otherwise falls behind in performance because of its Intel Celeron N3450 processor, even though it has 6GB of RAM. It’s also significantly heavier than a SP, weighing 200 grams more.
Fundamentaly it is a good tablet, but the attraction really depends on the price at this point, as one of the main reasons it had such a successful crowdfunding campaign, was because the price for the first backers was incredibly low.
