Finally unveiled in Spain on February 25th after a series of leaks beforehand, this is a real alternative to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, and understandably one of the best Android tablets in the 10-inch Android tablet category.
It ships with Android 8.0, and should be updated for some time too, based on Huawei's history. It has a 10.8-inch screen with 2.5D glass, and a very beautiful 2560 x 1600 resolution display, with a 4096 pressure levels Huawei M-Pen digitizer. And just like Samsung's S series, it has a custom fitted optional keyboard cover too with 3 pogo pins for proper connection.
Hardware power is good, with a octa-core HiSilicion Kirin 960 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage with 256GB microSD card support.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro 10.8 have full Wi-Fi coverage with 2×2 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac supported, together with Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and a USB Type-C port with a USB C to 3.5mm audio jack converter due to missing an audio jack, and there's a fast fingerprint sensor on it to, to keep it locked down.
The 7500 mAh battery has Quick Charge and can charge the tablet in 2.9 hours. As for M5 Pro battery life, it is 10+ hours long says Huawei.
This is also a quad-speaker tablet, with 4 speakers featuring Harman Kardon audio and Hi-Res audio. The cameras are good and have a high resolution (for a tablet) of 8MP on the front and 13MP on the back of the tablet.

In addition to Android 8.0 it comes with Huawei's smooth EMUI 8.0 user interface too, as well as with what has been named Desktop View with a taskbar and shortcuts to files, which can turn the Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro 10.8 into a real productivity tool when combined with the keyboard and pen.
