Finally unveiled in Spain on February 25th after a series of leaks beforehand, this is a real alternative to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, and understandably one of the best Android tablets in the 10-inch Android tablet category.
It ships with Android 8.0, and should be updated for some time too, based on Huawei’s history. It has a 10.8-inch screen with 2.5D glass, and a 2560 x 1600 resolution display, with a 4096 pressure levels Huawei M-Pen. And just like Samsung’s S series, it has a custom fitted optional keyboard cover too with 3 pogo pins for proper connection.
Hardware power is good, with a octa-core HiSilicion Kirin 960 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage with 256GB microSD card support.
Huawei MediaPad M5 Pro 10.8 have full Wi-Fi coverage with 2×2 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac supported, together with Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS, BDS, and a USB Type-C port with a USB C to 3.5mm audio jack converter due to missing an audio jack, and there’s a fast fingerprint sensor on it to, to keep it locked down.
