Apple’s OLED Tablet Plans Revealed in Leaked Roadmap
A recently leaked product roadmap purports to show Apple's plans for bringing OLED displays to more devices over the next several years, including a foldable iPad with a 20.3-inch screen in 2026.
The roadmap, shared by tech tipster @Tech_Reve on Twitter, indicates 11-inch and 13-inch OLED iPad Pro models arriving in mid-2024.
This would mark the company's first tablets beyond the iPhone to adopt the display technology, which offers higher contrast ratios and more vivid colors compared to LCDs.
https://twitter.com/Tech_Reve/status/1721023519885246632Apple watchers have speculated for years that the company has been developing foldable iPad prototypes. According to the leaked roadmap, a 20.3-inch foldable iPad Pro with a carbon fiber kickstand could launch in 2026.
If accurate, Apple would be entering the growing foldable device market currently led by Samsung, Microsoft, and others.
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently claimed Apple has decided to delay or cancel a 14.1-inch iPad Pro that had been rumored for next year.

So the 11-inch and 13-inch OLED models on the leaked roadmap may end up being the only new iPad Pro sizes through 2024.
As with any unconfirmed rumor, Apple's actual product plans could differ significantly from what the roadmap suggests. But if even partly accurate, iPad fans could see OLED models released in under two years, followed by Apple's first crack at a foldable tablet a couple years later.
