Apple Raise Prices On Largest Storage Version iPad Pro’s
Apple didn't release any new iPads when they unveiled their new iPhones this week, but we did see some changes to iPad nonetheless with the prices of the iPad pro tablets with the most storage go up by $50.
The models affected are the new 10.9-inch iPad Pro with 256GB or 512GB of storage, and the new 2nd gen 12.9-inch iPad Pro with 256GB and 512GB of built-in storage.
The reason is the same as the supply chain and manufacturers started warning about during the spring already, that due to the global shortage of some computer components, prices on several tablets would go up this year, starting during the fall.
In March, Asus and Lenovo among others warned that some tablets and computers would go up in price, starting in Q3. So far, Apple says it has been the shortage in storage components that have driven up the prices on the iPad Pro models with the most amount of storage.
