Alldocube M5S – A New 10.1-Inch FHD Android 8.0 Tablet W/ 3GB RAM, MT6797 CPU For $150

Just as the Chuwi Hipad started taking orders for $149 ahead of its October launch, a new tablet from Alldocube in the same specs range presented itself too: https://www.banggood.com/Original-Box-ALLDOCUBE-M5S-32GB-MT6797-Helio-X2

Called Alldocube M5S, this is a 10.1-inch Android 8.0 Oreo tablet, with Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution, powered by the deca-core Helio X20 2.3 GHZ MediaTek MT6797 processor, with 3GB of DDR3 RAM, and 32GB of storage with microSD card support up to 128GB.

So this is a mide-range 10.1-inch Android tablet for the budget conscious who wants something that can still perform, so expect Geekbench 4 scores of just above 1600 in single-core and 4600 in multi-core scores with this configuration.

With the Helio X20 chipset we als get specs like dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, BDS, and dual-SIM 4G LTE for the B1/2/3/5/8/38/39/40/41 bands.

The M5S has a 2MP front camera, a 5MP rear camera with LED flash, stereo speakers, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The battery size is 6000 mAH with a 6 hour battery life, while other dimensions includes an 8.9mm thickness and weight of 510 gram.

And despite the similarity in names, this tablet should not be confused with the Alldocube M5 which has already been released with specs a notch above the M5S.
