Launch Of 8.7-Inch Android Tablet Acer One T9 Starts
Acer is about to launch the Acer One T9 tablet, starting in India where it's been listed first.
This is an 8.7-inch Android tablet, identical in size to the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite.
However, the Acer One T9 (422L) is launched with Android 12, a 2.0 GHz octa-core MediaTek 8768 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. So it's going to struggle in the market.

This is a processor that was used in budget tablets 3 years ago, and well, it hasn't become any faster since.
As we reported back in May, this new Acer tablet has been FCC approved already, so it could launch in the US too.
Other specifications includes a 1340 x 800 resolution display, integrated 4G LTE, a 2MP front camera and 8MP rear camera, Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.0, stereo speakers, and a 5100 mAh battery capacity with an average 7 hour battery life.
It has a USB-C port, is 9.1mm thick, weighs 345 grams, and comes in silver, though still with black front bezels.
Considering these specs, I think that almost anyone who wants the most bang for the bucks on an 8-inch Android tablet right now will buy the Alldocube iPlay 50 Mini instead.
