8-Inch Budget Tablet Teclast P80T Coming In September
Teclast has created a new 8-inch Android tablet they'll launch in September. It's an entry level type of tablet, and the first budget type of tablet to feature Wi-Fi 6.
So meet the new Teclast P80T. It features an 8-inch screen with a HD resolution of 1280 x 800, with power coming from an Allwinner A133 processor, with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM, and 32GB of storage. But with a microSD card slot in this tablet, plenty of additional files and apps can be carried with it.
Teclast says the P80T will launch with Android 11, but it will also launch with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 which is a first for tablet of this kind.
The other specs are on the light side though, with BT 5.0, a mono speaker, a 0.3MP front camera and 2MP rear camera, and a 4000 mAh battery capacity.
Additionally, it also has a USB C port and a 3.5mm audio jack. The only color available is blue, so if you don't like that you'll either have to get a tablet cover for it or buy a spray can and get creative.
It's lightweight of course, at just 310 grams, though the thickness is a surprising 11mm. But for an 8-inch tablet, some additional thickness often matters less to customers.
The launch price has not been disclosed, so follow us if you like, and we'll update once we know.
