Lenovo now taking orders on IdeaCentre Horizon
Lenovo have started taking orders for IdeaCentre Horizon Table PC ahead of the store release date, May 21.
Yup, that was not a typo – this thing is so big Lenovo skipped the tablet category altogether and went for the ‘Table PC' segment instead. And at 27 inches, this makes a lot of sense. Or instead, another definition we might use for this table PC is an AIO.
Despite its size, Lenovo didn't pack it full of batteries, because the battery life is only 2 hours short on average. The price starts at $1,699 for the Intel Core i5 model.
Otherwise this 27-inch table PC Windows 8 device packs a 1920×1080 display, with processors up to Intel Core i7, 1 TB hard drive, and 8 GB of DDR3 RAM. Sort of normal AIO specs then.
AIO's are coming out frequently these days, with several having come to the market the last 6 months in particular, and we're eager to see people begin taking to these devices.
