Microsoft expands university discounts to Canada
Microsoft told Tabletmonkeys today that they are expanding their university discounts on selected hardware and sofware products for educational purposes to Canada.
Beginning today, Microsoft Store Canada starts by offering discounts on the two sofwares Office University and Windows University.
To be eligible for a university rebate, you have to be a student, faculty, or staff at a university, which will have to be verified in order for the discount to be eligible.
If this may not sound like much of an offer, keep in mind that Microsoft Store USA recently had a similar offer for students, where they offered a 10% student rebate on not just educational software, but Windows 8 tablets (Surface included), laptops, and even games.
Who else have ever gotten 10% off the Microsoft Surface?
