Today Microsoft launched the 1TB storage versions of their powerhouse tablets Surface Book and Surface Pro 4. Neither of these tablets are in the $49 Amazon Fire 7 tablet category though, since the price for 1 Terabyte of fun is $3,199 and $2,699 respectively:
But it has free shipping included in that price at least, and the 1TB tablets will be released in the first week of February.
The 1TB Surface Book otherwise has the latest 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, a 13.5-inch screen with a 3000 x 2000 resolution display, complete Wi-Fi cover, two full-size USB 3.0 ports, a 5MP front camera, and 8MP rear camera, and is of course built to be used together with the digitizer pen.
The 1TB Surface Pro 4 has a 12.3-inch screen with 2736 x 1824 resolution, the same 6th generation Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB of RAM, complete Wi-Fi cover, a similar 5MP front camera, and 8MP rear camera, a USB 3.0 port, and offers the same precise pen input support and pen features as the Surface Book.
