16-Inch HP Red Android Tablet Benchmarked
Not content with the 13.3-inch Android tablets out there? Well if we are to interpret the latest GFX benchmark spottings today, then HP might be prepared to launch a 16-inch Android tablet.
Listed simply as “HP red”, this tablet that might be called HP Slate 16 FHD have been tested with specs like a 16-inch screen with a 2048 x 1536 resolution, Android OS, the popular quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor at 2.3GHz, with Adreno GPU, and 2GB RAM.
Additional specifications indicate a 7MP rear camera with flash and a 2MP front camera both of which supports 1080 recording, NFC, GPS, Bluetooth, barometer, in addition to other ordinary and necessary tablet sensors.
There are not picture leaks yet, but if this thing is real, we could be looking at some pictures within a month.
Sharp launched a 15.6-inch Windows 8.1 Pro tablet earlier this year, but in the Android sector, 13.3-inches is generally as large as they've gone before, with tablets like the failed Archos FamilyPad or the more loved Hannspree T7
And if these tablets aren't large enough yet, then there's always the 27-inch Lenovo IdeaCentre Horizon.
16 inches is pretty much All-In-One territory since it has lost it's mobility factor at that size, but we are still eager to see what HP has come up with.
