11-Inch And 12.9-Inch Mini-LED iPad Pro 5G To Launch In Q1-Q2 2021 Says Latest Rumor
The future launch of Apple's first mini-LED display iPads have become more and more certain based upon the several rumors or leaks over the last year. But now some additional rumors suggests that these iPads will feature 5G too.
Twitter user Lovetodream who have been accurate with rumors or leaks in the past, now claims that the 2020 iPad Pro 11 and 12.9 will feature mini-LED displays as well as a Qualcomm X55 5G modem, and that these two new iPad Pros will launch between Q1 and Q2 in 2021.

The same source also quotes Apple leaker Fudge, who says the iPad Pro model numbers or codenames at the moment are J517 for the iPad Pro 11 and J522 for the iPad Pro 12.9, both to be powered by the Apple A14X chipset.
The 5G model X55 will be 2 years old in Q1 2021, and Qualcomm announced the successor 5G modem X60 back in February 2020 already. So who knows what considerations Apple will make when integrating 5G on an iPad for the first time, as there are a lot of things to consider.
