11.6-Inch Android 2-In-1 Tablet Teclast M16 To Launch This Winter

A brand new 11.6-inch Android tablet will be launched between late this fall or early winter called Teclast M16.

This whole new Teclast tablet have not been announced yet, but its main features are an 11.6-inch tablet with very narrow bezels, a 1920 x 1080 resolution Full HD display, powered by a MediaTek MT6797X (Helio X27) processor, and 4GB of RAM.

(UPDATE: The Teclast M16 started pre-orders on November 9th for $199)

But this isn’t just a large 11.6-inch tablet, but a 2-in-1 as well, with 5 dedicated pogo pins underneath the tablet for connecting directly with the optional keyboard cover. So that makes for an interesting Android 2-in-1 tablet.

It will launch will Android 8.0 though, so we’ll have to see how Teclast will deal with updates for it. Running the same processor as in the Teclast T30, it will have decent performance, good battery life, and it won’t be anything near as expensive as the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 as a 2-in-1 tablet.

The chipset also brings with it 4G LTE in some markets, and otherwise the Teclast M16 has 128GB storage, stereo speakers, a 2MP front camera, a 8MP rear camera, dual-band Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, a 7500 mAh battery, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, a USB C port, a micro-HDMI port, a charge port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.
