Rugged handheld and tablet brand Juniper launched the upgraded version of the Mesa Pro Rugged today, which is their 10.1-inch tablet now featuring Windows 11, and choices of 11th gen Intel Core i5 or i7 processors as well as 11th gen. Celeron.
In terms of ruggedness it has the same MIL-STD-810H rating like typical rugged tablets in this class, but the intended user group seems a little more focused with Juniper’s tablets, and it’s likely to be used for in-field mapping, CAD programs, and similar uses. As it has a lot more physical buttons than other tablets, this can be used as a tablet that will be quick to use or collect data with.
The rugged cover is also distinguished by being available in many different colors, so you don’t even need to name tag these tablets in the office, you can just change the color of the cover. Or it can be used to match the colors of your brand, and Juniper can also print your logo on the tablets.
Hardware includes 8GB to 16GB LPDDR4x RAM, up to 1TB storage, Intel Iris Xe Graphics, a Full HD 1920 x 1200 resolution display, optional 4G LTE, hot-swappable batteries, a 2MP front camera, and a 13MP rear camera with LED.
The tablets are made to order, according to the hardware and accessory requirements of each client.
