New $249 Intel Celeron Notebook With 6GB RAM, 13.3-Inch FHD Screen, Launch At End Of July

The still relatively unknown brand T-bao continues their trend of launching the by far cheapest computers available, and this time it’s with hot hardware too. Called T-bao Tbook Air3, we are looking at a 13.3-inch Windows 10 notebook that will be released in 7 days for $249:

That’s with 6GB of RAM, an Intel Celeron N3450 “Apollo Lake” processor, a Full HD screen with a 1920 x 1080 resolution display, 64GB of storage with 128GB microSD card support, and complete Wi-Fi cover. So that’s dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi support and Blueooth 4.0, which is good for the price.

The rest of the specs are more normal for the price though, as it has a 0.3MP front camera, a 5000 mAh battery with 2A charging and its own power port, stereo speakers, a full-size USB 3.0 port on one side and full-size USB 2.0 port on the other side, a micro-HDMI port, and a 3.5mm audio combo jack.

The weight is okay for this sort of notebook, at 1.327 kg, as this is not a tablet, but a notebook with keyboard. So at 13.5mm n thickness, it’s relatively thin too.

So this could be a new and pretty decent value device with Windows 10. And we will see once it’s been tested after launch. But at this rate, I can’t wait to see what else T-bao will come out with later this year.
