The Grand Tour Game (Formerly Top Gear) Announced By Amazon
After the original 3 cast Top Gear team got fired from the BBC and replaced by a very unpopular new cast, the original 3 cast got to continue their jobs when Amazon launched a similar new TV-show called The Grand Tour. So now Amazon have announced a computer game based on the 3rd season with bits of the 1st and 2nd season too, called The Grand Tour Game: https://www.amazon.com/adlp/playthegrandtourgame
The Grand Tour Game is launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in the first round, and the game has been wholly developed by Amazon Game Studios.
I haven't had the chance to play this game myself yet, but from the preview of the game, at least we learn that we get to participate in the typical Top Gear challenges we have become accustomed to, playing in different locations, and drive a lot of different autos, in up to 4 player splitscreen mode where players can act out their inner Clarkson, Hammond, and May.
The graphics isn't at a Forza level yet, so the focus is more on the fun and banter. However, the game will continue to develop and expand on content, so that's something to look forward to as well.
Perhaps the game is best summarized by the Creative Director Craig Sullivan, who stated that: “We're committed to authentically capturing the spirit of the show with cars, banter with friends, and (mostly) friendly competition.”
