The Best August Tablet Deals
As we are in the back to school season, a lot of people need a tablet or some form of 2-in-1 right now. Fortunately most of the tablets on the market with established names are of good quality.
The only other issues to consider is if the specs of the tablet are good enough for the tasks ahead, and often just as important, if the operating system of the tablet is compatible with any services or apps you may have to use to fulfill your tasks.
But whether you need a Windows tablet, an iPad, Fire or Android tablet, there are sales in each and everyone of these categories now in August.

The good news is that all iPad models are on sale as of today, with the iPad mini in particular seeing a record price cut of 20%. The regular sized iPad may succeed next month, so that's the only iPad you may want to skip for a couple of weeks.
All of Amazon's Fire tablets are on sale this week, starting from $44. The 10.1-inch Fire HD 10 is just $99 now, and can be fitted with both a keyboard and an Office package, so even a cheap tablet from Amazon can become a productive tablet.
Another cheap tablet is the Lenovo IdeaPad Duet 10.3 for $169, which I think makes this the cheapest Windows tablet on the market right now.
Nokia's largest tablet, the Nokia T20 has been permanently cut cut to $189.
And while off from it's record low price, the very popular 10.5-inch Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 is still on sale, just beneath the $200 mark.
Its main rival, the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus (Gen 3) is even cheaper now, on sale for $175.
The Headwolf WPad tablet that also just launched is on sale for the first time with a price cut of over 25%.
But, if it's more a traditional laptop you want to score on, then the best Windows laptop deal today this weekend is on the $699 Intel Core i7 powered HP Pavilion Laptop with 16GB DDR4 RAM (3200 MHz), 512GB storage, Bang & Olufsen speakers, a Full HD display, Wi-Fi 6, and backlit keys.
