With release on January 31, it has both Android 5.1 and Windows 10 operating systems this dual-OS tablet, even if the storage is only 32GB. But at least the tablet has full 128GB microSD card support.
Apart from the somewhat low battery capacity of 3800 mAh, and a claimed battery life of 3 hours, the other specs are at the level where they should be.
This includes an 8-inch IPS screen with 1280 x 800 resolution, an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 (Cherry Trail T3) processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.0.
The Teclast X80 tablet is also quite small for an 8-inch tablet, due to the very slim bezels on the sides.
Remaining specs include a 2MP front camera and a 2MP rear camera, a micro-USB port, and a micro-HDMI port.
It's amazing how cheap Chinese tablets are and how low tablet prices have become in general, which should bode well for the rest of 2016.
