Teclast P26T – The New Benchmark For Cheap Entry Level Android 13 Tablets

Teclast will be launching their cheapest entry level Android 13 tablet soon with a 10.1-inch screen.

The tablet is the Teclast P26T, and the most interesting thig about it is that it might end up serving as a benchmark for what specs we can get in a entry level tablet in 2023, for a very low price.

By entry level I mean a 1280 x 800 resolution screen, with power from an octa-core 1.8 GHz Unisoc A523 processor, with 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage.

Apart from these operational specs, it's also equipped with a 2MP front camera, and a 5MP rear camera with LED and even another AI sub-camera, face recognition, Wi-Fi 5, BT 5.2, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB C port.

The battery is relatively small, at just 5000 mAh. And even with a HD screen, that's still a little on the short side.

Another strange thing is the placement of the stereo speakers, which are both located on the right side in landscape mode. But it's not the first tablet to be designed like this, so it happens.

Also in terms of design, the bezels may be just 6mm thick, but the tablet is 10.2mm thick and weighs 500 grams.

The non-slip texture on the back has a blue ocean wave structure which is unique though.

Fortunately Teclast makes other tablets that are a lot more interesting. And the P26T is just built to be a cheap entry level tablet.
