Teclast has introduced its latest budget tablet, the P30T in P-Series Tablets of this brand. Retailing for around $145, the device packs impressive features including a 10.1-inch display, 128GB storage, and Android 14.
Sporting an IPS panel with 1280×800 resolution, the P30T’s screen utilizes TDDI technology for faster touch response. An Allwinner A523 octa-core CPU clocks up to 1.8GHz, while 4GB RAM keeps things smooth. Teclast bundles an extra 6GB virtual RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
Power comes from a ample 6000mAh battery. Connectivity options on the Teclast P30T feature Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0. The tablet equips dual speakers for audio and dual cameras (8MP rear, 5MP front) for photography. Biometric security includes facial recognition.
Teclast plans to enrich the Android 14 experience on the P30T with unique additions like forced landscape orientation, parallel view, and a PC mode. The customized interface already shows a more rounded aesthetic with updated app drawer and switching backgrounds.
P30T hardware utilizes a metal design available in starry gray. Weighing 440 grams, the tablet feels sturdy but portable. Costing around 100 yuan ($145) in China, the Teclast P30T will first launch there in December 2023. Global availability remains unannounced.
By undercutting the pricing of many competitors, the P30T seems positioned as a compelling budget Android tablet. With its modern spec sheet and software, power users get solid value without breaking the bank. Teclast continues providing affordable devices to cost-conscious shoppers.
